Those who visit this place will be charmed by the strong and intense colours of the sea and the vegetation, by the green and white of the coves.
Furthermore, the seabed offers a unique show; the presence of a particular red seaweed and Cystoseira seaweed prove the clarity of a pure sea. The marine environment is also rich in other types of algae, hard corals, and sea anemones (particular marine mollusks which give bright and beautiful colours).
The Chamaerops dwarf palm is the most widespread plant in the area, but rosemary and carob, myrtle and almond trees also populate this natural paradise. And there is no shortage of flowers with cornflowers and orchids.

The Bonelli’s Eagle, a rare species on the brink of extinction, finds its natural habitat in the Riserva dello Zingaro, together with seagulls, barn owls, nocturnal birds of prey, and owls.
The Riserva dello Zingaro is a real open-air museum, full of unique nature trails unparalleled in the world. And if that were not enough, there are five natural museums almost hidden among the shrubs. We are talking about the Museum of Marine Activities, the Museum of Peasant Civilization, the Museum of the Interweaving of Plant Fibre, the Museum of Manna and the Naturalistic Museum.
It almost seems that in this place time has stopped
It almost seems that in this place time has stopped, protecting it from any destructive human activity and preserving its beauty totally intact.
Visitors love to take long walks or hikes to discover a land that still hides numerous wonders. The beauty of the territory also translates into the goodness and quality of the natural fruits of Sicily, from which Viceré Sicily constantly draws, with the aim to provide the true flavour coming from nature and ancient traditions.
